The 2022 vintage benefited from a wet spring, a hot summer, and a perfect fall, with harvest occurring 25 days later than in recent years. This extended growing season allowed for optimal flavor development without excessive sugar or acid, resulting in a well-balanced wine that embodies the authenticity of Washington’s terroir. The wine’s tasting notes feature an inviting pear-like aroma that leads to ripe apple, melon, and citrus flavors, complemented by bright, zippy acidity and a lingering finish. With an ABV of 13.1%, this Pinot Gris offers persistent fruit character and a clean, substantial profile, crafted in a French style that balances intensity and elegance.
